The Seven Scents of Colin Farrell

(image via bastardly)

Bad enough that we have to suffer through "Cock Out" Colin Farrell's wooden acting in "The New World" in silence. (Exaggerated cough suggesting feigned detachment) But not content in assaulting our eyes and ears, Director Terrence Malick kicks it up a notch torturing our noses with what can only be possibly construed as "The Seven Essences of Colin Farrell" According to ContactMusic (and special thanks to SmittyFinnell):

"A Japanese cinema showing THE NEW WORLD will screen the COLIN FARRELL movie in 'Smellovision' to enhance the viewing experience. Seven smells will be emitted by machines placed under seats at the back of the theatre, depending on what kind of scene is playing during director TERRENCE MALICK's film at the time. Love scenes will be accompanied by a floral scent, while a peppermint and rosemary smell will waft through the cinema during emotional sequences."

Other "Essences of Colin Farrell" include in no particular order: Johnny Walker Black fart, a particularly lethal concoction called "Miami Spice," Colin in Heat, and, rounding things out, Lindsay Lohan.
